This novel is such a warming piece of literature envoking real emotions in human beings. The descriptions of love are truely sensual and the course of Tess' fate is so tragic for such a self sacraficing young girl leaving you heart broken. The novel is very modern for the time implying how Hardy was criticising society, a great genious of the Victorian era!
