    Translator

I believe the translator is Constance Garnett. Since this translation is in the public domain, it's widely used on the Internet. The Garnett translation is also the basis for a revised translation by Ralph E. Matlaw (the Norton Critical edition). A newer--and many would say a more faithful--translation has been made by Richard Pevear and Larissa Volokhonsky (published by Farrar, Straus and Giroux).

Another translator of a version is Andrew MacAndrew. (the Bantam Classic)

Can anyone tell me who translated this version from the Russian? There doesn't seem to be a credit anywhere.
