This book was so confusing at the begining it was hard to understand the rest of the book. How did you like it so much? Everyone i talked to said the play was a million times better than the book. But you are right that it was cool that you never new weather the gohst was real or not. But over all when i finished the book i was still very confused about the begining. Maybe i would have liked it better...

when i was in grade 3 i saw andrew loyd webber's musical of it, and i decided i would become a opera singer like christine dia. it took a year or so before my mom convinced me that i have no voice for it and i stopped screaching along to the soundtrack. however i haven't strayed far, now in grade 10 i'm following the path to become a dancer. in grade 4 i read gaston leroux's book and loved it! I was a little upset when, a few years later, i followed the instructions set in the prolouge of his book and at the paris opera asked to see box 5, and was laughed at. you think they would commercialize the legend set there but there was nothing about it!! at least the grand staircase was the same as in the musical. ( very beautiful!!)
