what do you think of the novel?

I am in the process of reading it right now. So far it is quite engaging. Straub has failed to disappoint me so far. I will let you know when I finish.

I remember reading this a long time ago, but the details have completely left me. I read three of his books, and remember them being quite entertaining, though I usually don't read gothic/horror stuff.
