Don't see the movie, it's crap! see the play(which follows the book better) or the musical, which is abosolutely beautiful.

I LOVE THIS BOOK! When I was in the 8th grade a friend of mine was reading it. At the time, I didn't understand why she was reading such a "BIG" book for pleasure. Now, I am a senior in high school. One day, I was in the library looking though the card catalogue and the name Hugo popped up in my head. I couldn't remember if it was the name of an author or character, but I looked it up anyway and found this amazing novel. Last night, while reading, I was so overwhelmed by the story and all its action that I didn't realize my mother was telling me that my school was closed for the following day (today). Now, I have the whole snow day to drink hot chocolate and read, read, READ!!! I never thought I'd use a free day from play rehearsal and school to read. If someone told me that when I was in the 8th grade, I would've laughed. I wish I could see the play. Since I can't, I'm going out to buy the DVD of the movie as soon as the weather gets better.
