I'm writing my extended essay for IB on literature, and seeing as I've read quite a few classics, decided I'd like to focus on books from that era. I'm considering the following question:
How are class conflicts portrayed in Jane Austen's Persuasion and Charlotte Bronte's Jane Eyre?
I'm wondering if the two books/authors aren't too dissimilar to compare, or if I had better stick with one or the other. I considered doing a compare/contrast of the same topic with Pride and Prejudice and Persuasion, but thought this a little more original, since many, many extended essays have been done on Austen. Any insights would be much appreciated!
