    <br>if you dislike most of shakespeares work then you obviously don't understand them very well. And so what if Shakespeare wrote fot the audiences pleasure - that is the whole point of entertainment anyway! what do you think he got paid for? At least Shakespeare was in touch with his audience and knew how to communicate with them on their level.<br> Don't be so picky!

    othello

    i rather dislike most of the writings of shakespeare...<br>his overall point is rather interesting yet he writes this as a form of entertainment. therefore though he took his own creative viewpoint, he still wrote this not for the joy of writing but for the audiences joy. also, the Queen greatly influenced the flow or point of the story rendering this a shell of a play.
