    booooring.

In my opinion, the Shakespearean tragedies are much more enthralling when watched as a play. Reading Othello while in Enligh class left me disappointed, as I had assumed any work by Shakespeare - in print - would send me into convulsions of joy. When my class took a fieldtrip to a local college campus theatre, I was absolutely astounded by the amount of raw emotion the actors purveyed to the audience. My point? I suggest to anyone currently in a high school level English course that they beg their teacher to see a live performance of Othello (or Macbeth).
