great mistake

I picked up this book thinking it was the play, and as an actress and devout bibliophile, I can honestly say that the play/musical and the book were equally intense. I loved it. In short, picking up Gaston Leroux's down to earth tale about love and sorrow, was the best mistake I've made.

Yeah, I've made some good mistakes, too. The first was not dismissing the movie the first time I saw it.
