The trend behind most (but not all) of these posts is rather irritating. I find it difficult to entertain the notion that someone so barely literate as many of the previous individuals could truly grasp Leroux's rhetoric.

Both sides - those who love and despise the book - have contributed to this drivel which entirely devalues the purpose behind posting an opinion. Malformed sentences like "the bool that has to read by everyone" reflect a complete inability to form an intelligent thought.

If you can't form a sentence correctly and/or cannot read any of the above sentences, chances are good that your opinion is invalid. Close the window, run a magnet across your screen, format your drive, and for the love of god, don't come back.

What in the world does this have to do with Phantom of the Opera? I see nothing.
