    My poem here

Right see the OP is rather pointless and makes no sesne, and is unimportant if it gets lifted. So you do that and then you post your poem in this space here. Give it a title if you ant and then...

I think from now on people should just post their poems in one thread. There is more security and it also makes it easier for other members of the forum to look back on a poem they liked but couldnt remember the title.
It also means that your newer poems arent going to be knocked off he first page after a day or two when another member decides to reply to each of their poems post over the last month.
This suggestion of one thread has been in the "please read before posting" thread for a very long time and its sterling advice. as Nightie has pointed out elsewhere, members who post their poems in this format havent been plagerised. you can post in the OP that the thread is going to be a thread dedicated to your poems. They'll probably copy the first post but not the rest so your poems will then be safe enough.

This is excellent advice, which I, for one, will endeavor to follow. May I add one more suggestion? In each of the "replies" in which you post subsequent poem, why not put a "by-line" --" title of poem" and then on the next line
    "by [your screen name]?

That way, even if it's copied, your screen name will be on it-- at least we can hope so.

or put copyright © "date" + "name" at end of all poems within the thread.

I think it's a good idea for some of the reasons Niamh mentioned but I don't see how it makes plagiarism any harder. I can copy and paste your second post as easily as I could the OP. I'm just a little confused.
