I believe this was a very good book, although my classmates had a very hard time understanding it, I rather enjoyed it. It tells many truths about life, such as when he finds out that to make someone want something you most only make it difficult to attain(reach). Even that is out of my mind capacity, when I, myself am only about his age! One of the best things I liked about Tom was his sense of adventure and his determination. Another thing I liked about this book was that it reminds adults to remember what it was like to be a child again. I would suggest this book to most adults rather than children because I know most, will not understand the old southern accent. Plus, as i have just written it will remind adults what it was like to be children once and to be wild and have fun!
