This is truly one of the best books ever written. It hurts my soul that anyone who is the same species as me could refer to it as a "so called classic." Dostoevsky is one of the few writers I have read who so successfully links an intrigueing plot with deep insight into the human soul and psyche. If you did not enjoy this novel, and found it to be time consuming and boring perhaps it was because you weren't looking for something enlightening, but something purely entertaining. If mindless entertainment is what you are in search of perhaps you should avoid the classis section next time you visit the library. This would not only be to your advantage, but also to ours (those who had the displeasure of reading your comments). <br>
