    Intro

    Hello everyone !

I got MA in English a couple of years ago and am looking forward to discuss litarature with anybody here. My major interests are James Joyce, Henry James, Beat Generation. I love music too, play the guitar and listen to anything good from Haydn through Miles Davis to Joy Division and further on.

Hello, allow me to introduce myself. I am Stephen_Lucan, an inspiring writer. I plan on posting both short stories and poetry, as well as reading them and giving feedback to those of us who crave it. Which is practically all of us.

    Hello everyone

I am new to poetry and have written only two poems in my now very long adult life!

    I like reading and music.

Iam New Zealand so my posting times will be weird to those on the other side of the globe.

I have looked through other forums and this one appealed as it was easy to navigae through.
    Nice to be here.

Hello all, I am an aspiring journalist though not having much luck on that front. The last book I read was War and Peace which lead me to this forum. Currently starting Team of Rivals and 1984. Think it is wonerful to see the so many people sharing views about what they are reading.

    Cool Hello

I am and have always been interested in writing. However, I pursued a career in science and then dentistry. I was on the faculty of a large American Helath Sciences center of more than 20 years before leaving with an "early buy out". Now I am in full time private practice and I work with and for former students.

I have always had trouble choosing reading material until about three years ago when I embarked on reading the Modern Library's 100 most Significant English Language Novels of the Twentieth Century. So far I have read about 40.

They are not all good but they do exhibit a wide (and I mean wide) range of writing styles.

    Hello

I'm Mark from Cornwall, England, the pointy bit at the south west tip. At the tender age of 43, now my daughter has left home; I've managed to convert her bedroom into a library and taken the opportunity to explore the classics for the first time.

I'm currently in Russia literary speaking and thoroughly enjoying the trip. :-)
