    Midsummer Night's Dream

Can anyone help me. I am teaching Midsummer Night's Dream and my students and I were wondering why the timeline seems screwed up. Theseus tells Hermia that she has four days until his wedding and her decision, but Hermia and Lysander say they are going to run away the next night. That is when the whole play takes place, but when the lovers are awaken, Theseus says that it is his wedding day. It seems he is about 2-3 days off, isn't he?

    Cool Hope this will help!

Theseus asks Hermia to make a decision in four days whether or not she is taking her father's order. After Theseus and Hermia's father left, Lysander and Hermia decides to elope on the next day.
The forth day, when the new moon rises, is also the day that Theseus marry Hippolyta. And that is the third day Hermia and Lysander have ran away. All in all, it turns out that everyone shows up on the day Theseus weds Hippolyta.
