    Are they looking for something traditional? Biblical? Ethnic? Trendy?

    Jean is always a great middle name for a girl. You can put pretty much anything as the first name and it will sound good

    My two favorite names for me right now are Rebecca for a girl, and Christopher for a boy. But this seems to change every few weeks.

    Miriam for a girl.
    Aaron for a boy.

    A ghost.
    That's what I am.

    Sorcha is more SOR-CA. Saoirse is right.

    Maximilian (well, I got inspired here), Alexander (that's what I'm naming my boy), James, Peter, Sophocles, Justus, Manuel, Elisabeth, Sara, Natasha, Nathalie, Melpomene. I'd probably name my kids Alexander and Nathalie, though...

    Thank you Niamh! (I suck at Gaelic... normal... ain't Irish myself )

    Three questions on pronunciation, please:
    AOIFE = EE-fa?
    PÁDRAIGÍN = PAW-dri-geen?
    How do I say MAIRÉAD?

    It's interesting how names can fade away and then come back in fashion. Apparently Samantha's really popular again. I know several little boys named Carter or Connor. Lots of Zoeys and Olivias too. My new baby cousin is Cameron, it's so precious for her.

    Yes, by you! I quite like the name, I might even reconsider swaping Alexander with it for my boy (future boy, Virgil)...

    I very much love all those names. They should never fade away

    Aiden has become an extremely popular name the past couple of years

    My top boy name when I was pregnant (before I found out gender of course) was Malachy

    Well, you see, I do have lots of time to consider the name. Unlike Virgil's assumption, I am not planning on getting pregnant anytime soon.
