Fishin' with the girls, had a few beers with the boys, read some Thoreau, cut down a couple trees, mowed the lawn, made tacos, cleaned the house.

What did you do this weekend?

Hung out with friends, watched a movie, went to a play, went out dancing (and stayed out past sunrise), went to the gym, read some Huntington, and wrote a bit.

Who is your favorite Greek god/goddess?

Hm, let's say...well, I don't have one...sorry, I'll think about it and then edit this post

Which book or movie have you reread or watched the most?

Edit - so I decided on Apollo "God of music, prophecies, poetry, and archery. Also said to be the god of light and truth."

Book: Walden; I've probably read it circa 15 times.

Movie: Star Wars IV -- I was (okay, am) a HUGE Star Wars nerd in my day. I've probably seen this movie circa 50 times.

    [EDIT: favorite Greek name: Helen]

Have you ever felled a tree?

sorry, I am not quite close enough for that. But maybe I can use my telekinetic powers to help.

edit- yes, I do. I'm still a city girl.

How do you feel about hunting for sport?

A tricky question, PoeticPassions. Generally, it's a good thing insofar as hunters are responsible & safe and use the game that they kill. For our youth, I think that hunting is an excellent introduction to the natural world -- in some ways a highly honest one in that they get to actively participate in the natural cycle (predator, prey).

I am, more or less, a former hunter; I never liked it as much as fishing. But I value those early hunts as a source of connection with the natural world that no other experience could have taught to me as clearly as hunting.

I cried when I killed my first deer. And I prayed for it.

How do you feel about fishing as a sport?

Hilarious! I had the same problem with Beauty and the Beast whenever I babysat for friends.

My father and brother hunts for sport, but we do use all the meat...

I personally, won’t do it, I can’t even watch nature shows...too disturbing...which is funny since I can watch horror movies, hehe

How do you remember things? ...apart from using your brain

I'm more into it for the boating. I've never gotten anything but a terrible sunburn.

I liked the user name question by Monamy.

Is there a funny/strange/real story behind the username you're using? If yes, would you mind sharing it?

Sometimes. It is a tad easier than baseball in my opinion.

    Do you go bowling?
