Well, isn't that the thread starter's idea of having this 'drunken sincerity' thread?

Sort of. I was posting to the normal threads when a brilliant thought popped into my head. I decided to post in this thread instead of the random thought thread because there was drunkeness involved.

what a brilliant thread, I just saw it now for the first time. Perhaps tonight I shall utilize it

    Drunken sincerity part one:
I've always thought you were sort of overweight, anyway, and it's fine: I'll just spend four hundred dollars on a return ticket to Iowa to go see somebody who probably doesn't give a crap anyway.

Why is 'crap' acceptable to the filters, but not ****?
Naked except for a cigarette, you let your mind drift and forget your disbelief. Feel the chill down your back and the flutter of wings through dandelion fields, and forget the pull of gravity in a night without stars.

I lack eloquence and commitment to my arguments. They are half baked, and I will begin passionately, and then abandon them.

Hey! It is May 24 weekend! Happy Victoria Day! My evening will consists of my brother's engagement party at a bar downtown and some quality time with my friend Captain Morgan
I'm weary with right-angles, abbreviated daylight,
Waiting for a winter to be done.
Why do I still see you in every mirrored window,
In all that I could never overcome?

Oh this thread rocks! I forgot about this. I'll have to come back later when and share some of my pearls of wisdom

Haha, no, you are correct. Canada has a holiday called Victoria Day which was named on May 24th for her Birthday but it's always celebrated on the last monday on or before the 24th. The long weekend is referred to as May 24 Weekend, despite the fact that it often comes quite a bit before the actual day of May 24th.

Wow I just said May 24th a lot

this could be a very very dangerous thread for me... god only knows what stupid thing i could write in here when drunk.

So went to a table quiz in the aussie bar in town...we won woohoo!
But word of advice... never let an aussie choose what vodka should go into a cosmo... eek!
