Of course. It's always polite to bring something like a bottle of wine, or perhaps a cheese, cracker, and salame set, or a little something for desert. But you seem to have dessert covered so I'll bring the wine and Hors d'oeuvres (is that the correct spelling??)

What qualities do you most value in a house/dinner guest?

Normally I'd bring wine but I don't think you drink so i would bring either flowers or a dessert.

Dang it! Star beat me to it. I look for good conversation in dinner guests.

Have you ever taken anything from work for use at home (ie. paper clips, stapler, etc...)?

I'm a black pen klepto. And I always snatch a bunch of ointment from medical supply whenever I get a new tattoo. Actually, the nurses give it to me. And I've had to get bandages before. And medical masks when we thought a couple of our patients and staff had swine flu. But I only take that stuff after asking the nurses first.

    What's your favorite side dish?

Potatoes. Boiled, mashed, stewed. I don't mind.

    Are you big on technology?

I do like to keep up with technological advances and constantly attempt to gain a greater understanding of Quantum Physics/Theory. However, I’m not that bothered about owning new stuff.

Do you have a fetish for high-quality propelling pencils?

I love a great mechanical pencil, but it does get embarrassing when I am caught with my pencil alone time...(you know...erasing that lead look off my face...)

Do you have any other (tame) fetishes...those that you could actually share on LitNet that is?

I assume a tame fetish means out-of-the-gutter, so yes.
Guns. Pretty guns. Wooden-stock, shiny, smooth guns. Darker rather than lighter.

Does your mind live in the gutter?

No, it lives in my head.

Why are we talking about such strange things?

Sorry! Spent a little too much time in the philosophy forum this morning and my brain is still all topsy-turvy.

Do you have trouble typing the word philosophy?

    Nope. I think it's a great word

Have you ever formally studied philosophy?
I'm weary with right-angles, abbreviated daylight,
Waiting for a winter to be done.
Why do I still see you in every mirrored window,
In all that I could never overcome?

    Nope. I can't stand philosophy.

Do you think there are more than two practical things to do with a philosophy degree?

Haha guess I didn't need to ask that. I just read your blog!

    Yes, there certainly are.

EDIT: Im an idiot and forgot to ask a question!

If you can't see the practicality of something, does that mean it does not exist?

No, you're not an idiot! Forgetful, maybe you got excited about your next post?

No, even if something is not practical (flies, mosquitoes, etc,) they still exist.

Did you believe in things that didn't exist when you were a little kid?
