Angel

A Poem written by me, about an akward moment on the stairs, that marked me.

Angel:

A day like any other,
The day i walked by,
Bet angels were singing
The day she caught my eye.

Her eyes intense
As they peered into my soul
Down to the depths
That no one dared to go

For split seconds our eyes met
But around us time froze
Seconds? Hours?
Only God knows.

For me time stopped
Seconds like hours flew by
It seemed almost like a wekk
She destroyed me, left me weak
Still don't know how or why.

But all i know and remember
From that day, were her eyes
They remind me so,
Laughter and Joy,
Sorrow, goodbyes

Now i sit here and think
"Who was this woman?"
With eyes deep as the see
more perfect couldn't be
And hair, like flames, alive
Now, my feeling hard to hide

Then sense to me came
I felt no shame trying to play this like a game.

I don't know her but i dream
And in my dreams i pray
God, I wish i knew this woman,
God, I wish i knew her name.

But when woken from my dreams
Something out there caught my eye
Those amazing blue eyes
I saw an angel flying by.

This might have been a dream
This could all be a lie
But all my dreams came true
The day an angel caught my eye.
