Sprinks, glad you had a good time! Your corsage was beautiful!

Man, a jive competition would have been sweet. Nothing like that at my prom. The most excitement came from the girl who got kicked out because she had a mickey of vodka strapped to her leg under her dress and it fell out haha.

Yeah, I felt so lucky that my partner picked such a beautiful corsage for me .

we think one girl and guy did manage to bring something in. They were a little off their heads, really really crazy.

Love the corsage! Both of them

We had a break dancing competition for the boys, haha.
I declare after all there is no enjoyment like reading! How much sooner one tires of anything than of a book! When I have a house of my own, I shall be miserable if I have not an excellent library.

I hate going to the grocery store. I haven't been in two weeks and I'm having to get creative at this point. I'm going to try to put it off until Friday. Anyone do their shopping for one month at a time?

I used to, when I lived in Myrtle Beach. Costco was the key, because ... I mean, tourist grocery store lines!? Absolute h*ll. I mean, I generally try to make friends in long lines, but there are some days when all you need is butter and milk and you just want to get out of there and onto the beach.

How is that even possible? Not the hating grocery shopping part, but the shopping just once or twice a month part... I go to grocery shop twice a week, because milk doesn't stay good for longer than a few days, and it's not exactly something you can put in the freezer like you can do with bread. I don't enjoy grocery shopping either, mostly because I hate carrying all the heavy food back home and all the time I can only imagine "ah, again another five kilograms that are just going to get stuck on my waist for ever"

yeah, I'm on the 1-2 times a week plan. But I don't have a garden and rely on fruits and veggies from the grocery store.

There are times when I go grocery shopping 2 - 3 times a week because not all the stores have the same items on sale each week. I usually stock up on chicken and fish and then just get the essentials each week if I am running low.

I go once a week, on the weekend, and run to the store once in the middle of the week for milk.

It takes me forever. My oldest son is twice as fast as me, however he sometimes leaves out essentials. The last time he went he did not get the cookies because they "were on the other side of the store."

    Coffee Time

I just returned from Venice and Milan, Italy. 11 days of fun. Expensive but fun.
The espresso coffee there was the best and I found at some cafes it cost 1-1.50 euro (or about 1.20-1.80 in dollars.) Venice is a trip, for sure.
