Winter is great for a good book and a comfy blanket, and I LOVE storms. So I'll say winter.

hmm... they look like the Sea-buckthorn berries, only the leaves look different.
Perhaps they are kumquats - I don't remember the insides looking like that, but then again I never paid much attention to what it looked like inside![]()
