Well... i'm from the Basque Country, a wee region of Spain near the French Border... but, as the song says, "my heart is in Ireland"... and perhaps someday I will manage to move there.

I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

I have been to Turkey, however, I did not visit Istanbul. I went to Marmaris (think thats what it was called) one summer, and got to see Pammukale which was spectacular. Overall though it was far too warm for me.

Pamukkale (this is the right one ) is great, i think everyone should visit Istanbul when they come to Turkey. also, Marmaris is nice, too. it is one of my favorite places in Turkey.

I was going to work in Sagalassos this summer, but it turns out they don't want me. I may visit my friend (whom they did want, the bastards) and make her take me to Istanbul. I'd really like to visit.
