Actually, machete isn't right, either. Maybe I'm not as good as giving clues as I thought.
Ever seen an indy - I mean, indie film?(Think outside the bladed box.)

Lessee...
A part of me is made by burning wood,
Burned but not burned away complete,
Another part of me should be mined,
By careful miners indeed, by St. Pete!
The third part is also found below,
Beware, lest the very Devil himself you meet!
The parts three combine to one,
The formula is ancient and precise
Among the three is healing, warmth, and flavor
Together they may send your soul to hell or paradise...
The three and the one for this riddle I think
Are the answers I seek, me auld China Plate!
Good luck...

Wow. No one has got this one yet? It would be wrong to give any extra hints as someone who wishes to remain anonyamous solved it almost as soon as it went up as is, right in every aspect. If they could do it, others will just have to think harder, because the information is there. Good luck!

OK. As this has been up for five days with no hits, allow me to give credit where credit is due. Wiff saw threw all the padding to the heart of the matter at once and gave me the answer in a PM the very day it went up. He didn't want to pick the next riddle, or ruin the game so quickly:
So let's see about this, shall we:
A part of me is made by burning wood,
Burned but not burned away complete,
You use this every time you grill out, it's called "CHARCOAL"
Another part of me should be mined,
By careful miners indeed, by St. Pete!
The word "mine" suggests a mineral, if you got the charcoal, you would be looking for something to add to it that is a mineral. I call St. Peter "St. Pete" for a good reason. "SALTPETER" is a mineral mined, that mixed with charcoal and
The third part is also found below,
Beware, lest the very Devil himself you meet!
We are going back underground for a third additive, which is plentiful in hell. Hell is describe a burning with "fire and brimstone". Brimstone is SULFER.
And now

CHARCOAL, SALTPETER, and SULFUR, properly mixed form GUNPOWDER.
SULFUR is something from which many drugs are made.
CHARCOAL provides a lot of heat as anyone grilling on the Fourth of July could tell you.
SALTPETER can be used as a salt substitute, as it tastes somewhat like salt, it needs refining.
GUNPOWDER will certainly kill, sending you to wherever you go when you die.
China Plate is Cockney rhyming slang for "Mate", but here, it means what it says. China is where gunpowder originated.
That's all folks!
Someone else do the next one!

Aye, Matey, Mister Arrow is missing from the Hispaniola, and and arrow has a head, shaft, and tail. The longbows used to have the greatest range, longer shafts, pulled back further increased the fps. An arrow that was ill-feathered would miss, unable to fly right.
You're up, brother!

Why are manhole covers round, not say rectangular or square - which would be much more easier to produce?
(There are a number of answers to this question - I will count the question answered when my favourite explanation is presented.)
If you believe even a half of this post, you are severely mistaken.
