Oh nice! I watched the Perth ones. Haha I swear "AUSSIE AUSSIE AUSSIE, OI OI OI!" is like a secret code shared between all Australians. It's all you could hear all day. It didn't matter where you were, if someone yelled "AUSSIE AUSSIE AUSSIE!" someone, somewhere, would respond
. Even on the packed train home!
Sprinks mum says thanks for the birthday wish by the way.
I am back............................
Hehehe, I remember the "oi oi oi!". Somehow the enthusiasm of it really doesn't carry onto the typed version...
I remember my dad and I used to walk around Fremantle Harbour...was what that beautiful tall, old building?
I declare after all there is no enjoyment like reading! How much sooner one tires of anything than of a book! When I have a house of my own, I shall be miserable if I have not an excellent library.
Jane Austen, Pride and Prejudice
Which one? There's so many. It's great there are so many Aussie's in the forum. I didn't get bitten by one mozzie last night either. Oi Oi Oi may not carry as well but neither does 'bonza' or 'dur' :-)
Very true. The atmosphere is so different in real life. Thousands of people all united by shouting those words, it's quite amazing.
Oh, and no problemo, Jo!I hope she had a wonderful, firework filled night
Ohhh it was a partial eclipse last night as well! My genius friends decided to look directly at it![]()
Here's me and the big flag that got flown around by a helicopter through the day:

Sprinks we had a lovely day with the bridge and opera house as our backdrop. Looks like you had a great day.
I am back............................
Anyone notice the Annular eclipse?
