Spanokapita from the market (YUM!), maple sugar candy, fresh apple cider, and a feta/grilled red pepper pastry.
Naked except for a cigarette, you let your mind drift and forget your disbelief. Feel the chill down your back and the flutter of wings through dandelion fields, and forget the pull of gravity in a night without stars.
I lack eloquence and commitment to my arguments. They are half baked, and I will begin passionately, and then abandon them.

Spanakopita is a Greek pastry with a filling of spinach, feta cheese (sometimes in combination with ricotta cheese for value), onions or green onions, egg, and seasoning. The filling is wrapped in layers of phyllo pastry with butter and/or olive oil, either in a large pan from which individual servings are cut, or rolled into individual triangular servings (see burek). Spanakopita is golden in color when baked.
