Do you know how much we (as in you and me) have discussed Joseph Fiennes in this thread alone!

Janine: Zooey Deschanel. You know her from the band «She & Him», and a fair amount of movies -- as a supporting character for the most.

She is in Bridge to Terabithia, Hitchhikers Guide to the galaxy and the movie (i'm boycotting because they completely changed what is actually a true story) yes man.
    She is very pretty.

She can sing pretty well too, at least *I* think so. I was actually planning to take a quick trip to Los Angeles to snap her up, marry her and so forth once I became a famous writer, but it seems she is engaged with this awful indie-rock musician now. Isn't life unfair?

Thank you. I think I would do just about anything to bring back Audrey Hepburn, but only on the condition that she exchanged that famous dress she wore on Breakfast at Tiffany's for this one:

Just kidding, she could wear that black dress on our honeymoon!

That is right - we did way back, was it a year ago?...afterall this thread now has about 45 pages. I didn't realise this was the original "Celebrity Crushes" thread.

I approve! Tippi was lovely, as were most of Hitchcock's leading ladies.

Although I'm female and straight as an arrow, I think these are probably the two most beautiful women I have ever seen:

    Navi Rawat

    Ingrid Bergman

What I'd give to look like either of them...
I'm weary with right-angles, abbreviated daylight,
Waiting for a winter to be done.
Why do I still see you in every mirrored window,
In all that I could never overcome?

I agree *C*C*. I especially love/admire Ingrid Bergman. I am 'straight as an arrow' too; however, I think when a woman can admire the beauty of another woman that shows a great sense of self confidence/security within themselves. I just might post a few woman I highly admire and think beautiful, too. I thought Grace Kelly had amazing looks - such beauty and class she had. You are totally right on that one - Hitchcock picked some gorgeous leading ladies.

On the subject of actresses from a earlier time - Edie Doyle from "On the Waterfront"

unfortunately I cant find a pic to do her justice
There once was a scotsman named Drew
Who put too much wine in his stew
    He felt a bit drunk
    And fell off his bunk
And landed smack into his shoe

Hey Kilted, do you mean Eva Marie Saint? She was the actress who played Edie, I believe. I think if you look around online, you could find plenty of photos of her as she looked back then; of course, now she is much older. She still acts, I think. She was always a great actress.
