Okay I'll start.
Object 1, The Odd Little Box:
The mysterious odd box that my son gave me for christmas.
And the contents were two little guys he made from soda can pop tops in an effort "to make me never see the mundane the same way again". (his words).
That was probably the best and most meaningful gift I got this year.
Object 2 The Mask, The Wrench & The Butterfly:
A mask my son made and stuck up in my shop, a working wooden wrench a friend made for me and a butterfly that flew into my shop on its own power and passed away on my work bench. All serve as reminders to me, I bet you can guess as to how and why that is. Oh, also visible is a razor blade and a sketch of my now existent desk. Neither really serve any purpose anymore they just are.
Object 3, The Little Tiki that's trying to Live:
I found a branch in my yard and saw the tiki in its form. I've been trying to bring him out. I'm a tikiphile, I love the idea of a god of the creative spirit and he's my little representative. I'll finish him someday but I'm in no hurry, I like him unfinished.
Object 4, The Little Pink House:
It's representative of the big pink house which was built in the town where I'm originally from. It's a museum now but the history of the place is alive with intrigue, a ghost story and reports of mysterious occurrences. I used to look at it every day from my grandmother's window. When i hear the word "Haunted House" this is the picture that comes to mind. It looks very innocent but perhaps outward appearances can be deceiving?

My grandmother used to care for it sometimes between owners. She has stories. Maybe I'll jot some down someday.

it's a little blurry, but that's a photo of a stuffed toy that I have. It's a cow, but it looks like a monkey. So it's a monkey-cow. I've had it for years. I love cows. It lived on my bed when I had a 4-poster bed, but now that is gone so it lives on my hat stand!!
The globe. Useful to see which countries are half a world away (from Portugal it's New Zealand). Besides, I like watching it spin.
My marble chess set. I love chess.
My alarm clock. I'm something of a control freak when it comes to time. I've grown attached to it, it's the only thing there's to look at in those long insomniatic nights.
okay so here are some of my things...
My mirror that i put memories and stuff on. Theres a card of when my friends baby was born + a pic of her, another friends wedding invite, my jade given to me by someone from Aisa, A beer mat from Kellys on King in Newtown Sydney with a friends address on it, A postcard from prague, baby pics, pics of friends and pics of me and my sister, angel, and my tigers eye pendent.
