It depends on your mother tongue, I suppose. In Portugal we say Dostoiévski, in Germany they say Dostojewskij. In English I say Dostoyevsky. But it's all the same, really, they're all equally (in)accurate.
In my language, it's spelled Dostojevski - and I was under the impression that Dostoevsky is the usual spelling in English.

That or Dostoyevsky is the usual spelling, yes. Depends on the publisher. I think penguin spells it Dostoyevsky while the most recent translation by Pevear spells it Dostoevsky.

To get things clear, they have to firstly be very unclear. But if you get them too quickly, you probably got them wrong.
