Rambling in the dark

Tongues of sharp-winged sadness take me.
Unkempt, unsandalled and unclean,
I wander whirlpools in the waiting dark,
following false beacons
that bold and bitter moonlight
burn before me.

I like the flow of it. I'm not sure if there's a meaning or not in there becuase I didn't understand it. But it sounded real cool. Yay!!
