    The Dark Room

This is one of my more favorite poems -- I wrote it... maybe 6 years ago.

    I sit in the cold
    the dark room
    everyone is there
    I sit alone

    I think my thoughts
    I dream my dreams
    everyone is there
    the room is empty

    I watch them laugh
    I watch them cry
    I watch the empty room
    I wonder why

Oh, I may understand why it's one of your favourite poems

some times ago I thought, that my poems aren't very bad, but after I've read some on this forum I don't know if I may call them poems

I get this picture of a mad man. lol. I think this poem has deep meaning and i really understand why you'd hold it in such high regards.Ii can't find anything wrong with it at first glance, and i applaud your sharing.

Well, if you take it to be about a mad man that is fine. What a poem means should be up to the reader.

However I wrote it about the feeling of being alone in a room full of people. Being ignored, being unwanted or unloved. Being invisible.
