The Italians love their Nutella - you can even get it in restaurants, which I found hilarious. Basically I equate it to the European version of Peanut Butter, except chocolate-butter.

I like it, but I don't buy it, simply because I'd end up eating it with a spoon.

Just the thought of hazelnuts gives me chills. BUT I would be willing to try a little bit. What would you recommend to be the best way to taste it?

I don't know just yet. I am willing to try it, but as I have said twice now, I really don't care for the taste of hazelnuts. I just may be joining you there!

Fun Fact from the Nutella Website: Nutella outsells all brands of peanut butter
    combined worldwide.

i love nutella - but too much isn't good for you is it? That's what my mom tells me. Tell me she's lying. I mean it has nuts doesn't it - that's good for you. ;-) What could be better then sitting somewhere warm with a jar of nutella and a spoon and a good book? Heaven.

It goes great on Italian bread. But try it on the end of a butter knife.

you never know virgil. go with a spoon though, you get more of it that way, and your not at a tounge risk. besides, if you cut your tounge, no more nutella for a while. I'd stick with the safe side and go with a spoon.

It is best with sliced bananas on a crepe.

I think, in my country, if didnt nutella exist,
country's total "anger" level would be 20-30% higher.
