I need help with Prospero vrs. Puritans.

Is there any way I could say that Shakespear was forwarning everyone that the theater wouldnt last much longer, and that Prospero cutting off the masque in Act 3 Scene 3 was to show that the theater itself would be cut off by a higher power soon? I have an essay I have to write and I was taking it into consideration. I would love feedback. Thanks

I doubt it somehow - it's a bit of a stretch, and I doubt there is any biographical, or historical strength you can dig up.
