    Name your favorite philosopher...

    I am somewhere between Plato, Schopenhauer, and Nietzsche.

    Well, Schopenhauer is an unvarying choice for me, but other than him, I'd say it's currently a toss between Plato, Willard Quin and Wittgenstein. Plato is there mostly because of Cratylus and Parmenides, though. Ernst Tugendhat is up there somewhere as well.

    I'm hooked on late 19th century guys: nietzche, thoreau

    but spinoza's tremendous, so is allan watts. The chinese have some good ones; bruce lee anyone?
