    Scrambled Stories

Actually, this revives a thread I had back before I got so sick with my kidneys and whatnot:

These are all Ghost or Weird Short Stories:
1.) 5 digits, (only five), one horror!
2.) One who does and those done to—
    3.) Enticing Ghost
4.) The Hall was haunted by H2O
    5.) Cursed object
6.) Granted wishes its own way—
    7.) Old magics—
8.) The final ghost was a dissected man—
9.) They were griping about their homes in graveyards
10.) The Galloping Ghost was bogus…yes? The Legend of Sleepy Hollow by Washington Irving
    11.) The chamber warbled—
12.) Become immortal, not your picture—The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde
13.) Scarlet price all men pay—
    14.) The hills were insane—
15.) Actually, he’s mentioned in the Bible as God of the PhilistinesDagon by HP Lovecraft
16.) According to Charles L. Dodgson, the spirit was small
17.) Subtitled “The Feast of Blood” Varney the Vampire by James Malcom Rhymer
18.) The fake was haunting its own fake in a story by Twain
19.) Sometimes, two do equal one—
    20.) It might be a bojum…

    Have fun! Happy guessing!

I would have thought some of these very obvious. Am I the only one who reads Ghost Stories?

Sorry, Pen, I've read a lot of horror stories, but most of the ones in your list are unknown to me. I should have hit upon The Red Death and Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde, however. What a pity. I was so happy when I saw that you had come up with a new list. But perhaps there are simply too many horror stories around.

Yeah I should have gotten The Red Death...but isn't it called The Masque of the Red Death?

But I haven't really read a lot of ghost stories. I've only read about 3 of those.

Of course you're right about the title, ntropy.
