If you've been making veggies, then give them some veggies, you won't have to do much work.

    May I?

When I don't feel like cooking, I can get away with a pasta of choice (usually angel hair, though), with a tomato pasta sauce (like Prego, chunky variety) and a huge crisp green salad with tomatoes a-plenty. Warm up some bread (or toast rye bread) and you got yourself a meal.

I went with meat loaf (turkey), steamed broccoli, and baked potato. But I really wanted to just give everyone a bowl of cereal!

You made meatloaf, steamed broccoli, and baked potato on a day that you didn't want to cook??? Holy Carp. What do you make when you want to cook??

(cereal is always a good choice for dinner I say)

Cereal is an excellent choice, lol!

But I do remember my mom making grilled cheese sandwiches (she had five kids and this was easy, if you had two loaves of bread, lol). And she'd serve one tin of vegetable soup mixed with one tin of tomato soup (and dilute accordingly) -- us kids really liked this particular meal, not knowing that it was really a 'I just don't have the energy to prepare a formal meal' type of meal ... Ok I'll quit, Baki, I think I am verging on hijacking this thread -- forgive me!

What is man born to die?

Is there a technique to generate good moods all the time? Any therapy?

“Those who seek to satisfy the mind of man by hampering it with ceremonies and music and affecting charity and devotion have lost their original nature””

“If water derives lucidity from stillness, how much more the faculties of the mind! The mind of the sage, being in repose, becomes the mirror of the universe, the speculum of all creation.

Music works and anything that detracts from the world. But no, happiness is only transient. If we were happy all the time or in a good mood how would we know we are?

What is the difference between a geek, a nerd and a dork, and which is worse. In the hierarchy of geeks nerds and dorks?* (in no particular order), where does geek fall?

I would have put it in the order you have it. geeks being the ultimate, and dorks just being the lowest goofiest of them all.

Dear Baki. I'm going to a New Years party where I'll hate most of the other guests. Should I wear one of those pointing hats and blow one of those party blow toys and make believe I'm having fun or should I just sit in the corner ad watch the New Year ring in and mumble under my breath what jerks are around me?
