i missed the x-mas episode thanks to my parents, I can't wait to watch it.
As far as I've heard he's not. He's taking two years out to do other things. It's not good for actors to get stuck as one character. So they’ll put the show on hiatus until he goes back, because he’s a great doctor. Anyway, that was the last I heard on the subject.

Sure a girl doctor would be fun to see but it just wouldn't be the same if the Doctor was saving the world in a bra... now there's a weird mental image.

Hey, the doctor could so save the world in a bra!

the mental image is indeed overpowering.

Just as I start watching the show, they go and change the actor! Well, I've only seen 2 to date....I still prefer Torchwood (which begins next week!)

Torchwood. Like I said before, it's good but nowhere near as great as Doctor Who. Speaking of Torchwood, anyone noticed that TORCHWOOD is an anagram for DOCTOR WHO yet?

yeah, that was part of the 2nd or was it 3rd series of Dr who Blue, the one that ended in the battle of Canary warff?
It was also the name of the estate that was destroyed in the time of Queen V, which is why she set up Torchwood to hunt and destroy the Doctor and any other 'unnatural' being.

The second series. The name torchwod appeared in almost every episode somewhere, one way or annother. It's great to play, spot the recurring theme. In the first one it was Bad Wolf, I didn't notice that, then Torchwood, I picked up on that and then Mr Saxon, I spotted practically all of those, having heard the name mentioned in an interview a few weeks prior to series 3.

I knew he was Mr Saxon but I had no idea Who He'd become (I'm trying not to spoil it too much for those who haven't seen it yet) Then again how could I have known, I've never seen the earlier ones .

I dont think he was in the earlier ones, but Like I said Simms gave the game away... by trying too hard to be 'ambiguous' about the plot.

He wasn't, but his character was, in the earlier ones, that I've never seen (I'm referring to his second persona here), though the character of Mr Saxon was mentioned in the second Christmas special, just before they shot down the star, something like "orders from Mr Saxon" or something.

Well, I haven't seen them all either. It was only out of chance that I stumbled upon an episode of Torchwood.
But I've seen the preview for the 1st episode of season 2 (there's only been one right?!)

Yep, I had noticed. What I didn't get is why Dr. Who doesn't really like Torchwood (was mentioned in one of the last episodes last month).

None of my flatmates seem to like either of the two shows...so I'm hoping there's nothing else they want to watch at the same time!

He doesn't like them because of how they were, at Canary Wharf (Seeing as that's the only time he's actualy had any real dealings with Torchwod). If you were an alien would you appreciate being told "if it's alien it's ours" by people who think they're superior to you? It's their fault that the Cybermen leaked into our world because they were messing with things that they didn't really understand. It seemed as if they didn't really care who got hurt unless it was them.
    That's what I thought anyway.

Hey all, lost interest in the dear Doctor? With season four over there are some things I should say. First off.
SERIES FOUR WAS GREAT , then again, the next season always is .
Also, Donna made a great companion, which leads me onto a question that's been bugging me for ages.
    Who is everyone's favourite companion?
I'm now torn between Martha and Donna, one thing I know is that Rose is my least favourite. She was fine at the start, when I had no one to compare her to but afterwards Martha was just so much better than Rose.
