Can anyone help me with:
What are the stark perceptions presented in Shakespeare's King Lear and Peter brooks interpretation?
Thanks.

Stark is:
- Lear's view of love and respect in the dividing of his kingdom.
- Gloucester's view of the 'treachery' of son Edgar.
- Edmund's view of the meaning of love (with Cornwall as his 'father')
- Goneril and Regan's view of loyalty to others
If you mean the black & white film with Paul Schofield, I found that awfully bleak, yes, and couldn't finish it. It was really slow plus looked like cave-man days--ugh! But, I like Schofield--great actor in other things.
