Help would be very gratefully recieved!

I have got a coursework question and I am really struggling with it. It is : Analyse the representation of the female artist in ANY ONE OR TWO novel(s) studied on this course.
I have chosen Tenant of wildfell hall, would anyone be able to give me some hints/tips!
    Thanks

You might try searching for criticism of it.

Well, you have about four characters which you have enough information about:
The obvious, being Helen Huntingdon; the main character. Her best friend and Arthur's friend's wife, Millicent Hargrave. Arthur's friend's wife, Lady Annabella Lowborough [nee Wilmot], and Gilbert's first love interest and one of the vicar's daughters, Eliza Millward.

Then write about how you feel the novel portrays them. Do they give a positive view of them? How do you feel the main character feels towards them? Analyze their motives and actions etc.
