I remember an essay I produced in University two years ago. The theme was the use of natural elements in WH. You know, how nature seems to influence the characters, and the descriptions, the pace of the story. The thunder that is associated with Heathcliff, the stormy night that influenced the lives of both Heatchcliff and Catherine, Isabella's abduction, the desecration of Catherine's grave by Heathcliff. It went pretty well, actually. Too bad the professors don't hand back the essays.
