Supposedly, Awake is supposed to be released Nov 30th.

It's a movie starring Hayden Christensen (I just love him) and Jessica Alba and it's about a man who experiences anesthetic awareness during heart surgery. I hope it's good.

I've seen both good and bad from those who saw screenings of it. Here's the trailer.

    I hope it doesn't suck!

Here's another one I just read about: Teeth.

A girl is raped and discovers she has an extra set of teeth. That's something else. I'm curious now. The problem is it's a limited release. I guess I'll have to catch the DVD release.

I thought the sequel of the X-Files would be on 2009. Oh, rumours.

    Great thread Adams.

I can't wait to see Sweeney Todd. I hope the studio didn't succeed in getting the blood toned down.

The new Woody Allen film will be in theaters this month. Anybody else excited?

Lily: I have a crush on Natalie Portman and was able to get Hotel Chevalier from Apple.com before it was removed.

I just wanted to see Natalie's cute face and was shocked by the nudity.

There is some great subtle stuff in the short, but Wes Anderson annoys me with the slow-motion scored with indie acoustic. The might include Hotel Chevalier on the DVD, so you might still have a chance to see it.

    Thank you!

GRAH WOODY ALLEN. I have NEVER seen a film of his and I feel TERRIBLE about that! I totally have his glasses! And he's a "classic". Maybe this next one will be my first of his!

No, fortunately I went the weekend they started playing it before "The Darjeeling Limited" so I saw it.

OK. I am a gigantic "Sweeney" fan and I am getting more and more afraid each day that I hear new gossip about the film. I guess the blood is still in the film. They never managed to cut it out to make it a PG-13 film. It is still an R. Anyway, I heard that there isn't alot of blood in the film, but when there is, it is really flowing. My major concern is the music that is supposedly cut. I have heard that "The Ballad of Sweeney Todd" was cut. That is THE song in the show for me! Personally, it sets the whole story off. It really gets the eerie mood just right. The second song for me is "A Little Priest". I am worried that the lyrics to that song are changed. At least that is what I heard. Now, I am going completely by rumors and gossip here. So, I am still hopeful that the story and music are intact. I am going to wait patiently, but all of this news isn't making me too happy. I really don't want to be disappointed in any way because I have waited for this film for a few years now.

Hmm... He's getting older and his films are changing. You might want to rent one of his earlier films. If I were to make a decison on seeing more of his movies, based on something like Scoop, I would not. And that would be such a loss. I say go to one of his earlier films. The next will be a tragedy, which I think he does well, but you might want to get familiar with him as a comedian first.

I'm not familiar with the musical, but I would feel cheated if I knew I was missing any contribution to story. I read that either the playwriter, or Sweeney scholar, saw the film and was very happy about it.

I just saw the Dark Knight trailer. Wow! I want to go to IMAX and catch rise of the Joker. Anybody else excited?
