That's how I feel about most cloths.
    The very truth.
I declare after all there is no enjoyment like reading! How much sooner one tires of anything than of a book! When I have a house of my own, I shall be miserable if I have not an excellent library.

Many prefer synthetic materials, but I am loyal to cotton and wool as they are so much more comfortable, breathable, and don't get pille. However, most of my clothing does not require ironing.

I don't think cotton knits need pressing, so those might be an option.

Can you have herbal teas? Some of those are quite good.

That's my son's attitude about a lot of his "nos" too but popcorn is one thing he's learned the hard way he absolutely can not touch. It is hard for him at the theatre but he just buys candy instead. I don't think the sugar is great for him but it's better than getting pieces of popcorn hulls lodged in his intestine so he's learned to live with it.

Well, Isaac can have it. It's not quite the same thing and it seems to have the effect of making him more bitter he can't have the real stuff but he's been known to break down and eat it once in awhile.

My husband's aunt would always iron his shirts for him so he was always clean pressed until he met me

did someone teach you all how to iron, or did you just figure it out for yourselves? I remember watching my grandmother iron, and then I tried it myself. The first thing I ironed was a white cotton shirt. When I was done with it, it was a white cotton shirt with a burn mark on it, and some black crusty stuff seared into it.
This sounds exactly like me We must have the same ironing pad and board. My mother in law would normally iron my husbands shirts.

Herbal and fruit teas are fine. Its the caffine on coffee and tea that causes spasms. I'm drinking peppermint tea at the moment which is very good for me. Also i have to get my hands on fennel tea because its supposed to help get rid of the bloating caused by the IBS. I have a LOT of herbel and fruit teas at home. nettle is one of my favourites.

Sugary things are a nono i think. I'm not allowed to eat milk or white chocolate (the gastroentrologist nicely told me this while my mam was sitting beside me!) but i can eat high cocoa chocolate (dark) 65% and above, because its full of antioxadents.

I've got exams every-darned-day and lately i'm staying up either late or the whole night! And I've wasted some time back last night writing a poem. Now i've got drooping eyes and a thirsty soul. Though there's a lot to do, I'm in high spirits and just can NOT study right now for some reason. Who else thinks I need some coffee?

I think you need a sound sleep. Its okay to take a break, despite the hectic schedule, to re-charge your batteries .

I agree with madhuri. Sounds like you need some time to wind down first, though. When I'm feeling over-strung I always find a that I relax best by making myself a hot cup of herbal tea, climbing into a cozy chair and listening to some quiet music.

This promise seems like the type I used to make to my mother and never keep.... very tricky .
