hi,everyone,I'm Chinese student,major in English.I'm really enjoy reading les miserableI have read the English Version and view the musical.The work is great.but the Chinese Traslated version mislead Chinese reader.
I have to give les miserablea subjective critic.What should I focus on?
Jean Valjean repeatedly struggles with his past. You could discuss whether a person is ever able to truly change their inherent characteristics.
