Well, I think Shurtugal that your avatar reveals a gorgeous eye color, but it doesn't convince me. And I really disagree with the Helen Keller quote---it's wishful thinking, just that all life is not an adventure. Life is hard sometimes, too.
"He was nauseous with regret when he saw her face again, and when, as of yore, he pleaded and begged at her knees for the joy of her being. She understood Neal; she stroked his hair; she knew he was mad."
---Jack Kerouac, On The Road: The Original Scroll

I dig the Kerouac quote; very fitting for jon's persona.

I like shurt's middle quote best; I think it gives more to ponder. (though I think there is a typo )

that's alright, I'm not sure I really understand it either, though it is an emotional standpoint I think I identify with.

    for Dori,
didn't you have a Whitman quote at one time?

that video looks pretty funny, though I didn't watch a whole lot of it

Yes, I did. I believe it was "Do I contradict myself? / Very well then I contradict myself, / (I am large, I contain multitudes.)" It's from Whitman's "Song of Myself" (section 51, lines 6-8).
