It's all explained in "The Farthest Snore" by Ursula penGuin
    Voices mysterious far and near,
Sound of the wind and sound of the sea,
Are calling and whispering in my ear,
    Whifflingpin! Why stayest thou here?

    YES!!!

I thought I was the only one feeling those things! PENGUINS!!! And the sperm whale! Stupid penguins and sperm whales and their gelantinous oozy brain cells that want to take over my body.

And how about those potato bugs!? Don't get me started on them! They said they'd give me free coupons for a lifetime supply of sauerkraut BUT NOOOOOOO!!!! They're so wacky! Buncha scumbags!!! WHERE'S MY SAUERKRAUT?!?!?!!!!!

Actually, as far as I know, penguins are native to the planet earth. It is true they have spread across several galaxies, maybe your's is a travelling merchant of pinguin related brick a brack that is stranded on earth? You'll have to check with a specialist to be sure though.

Yes is a three letter word, affirmative isn't.
