Thinking...thinking!
I gotta agree with Niamh, there is no universal standard of "normal", it is all in the eye(or head) of the beholder.
However, I do pride myself in being completely warped
I declare after all there is no enjoyment like reading! How much sooner one tires of anything than of a book! When I have a house of my own, I shall be miserable if I have not an excellent library.

You can't do politics here LadyW ;-)
I sent my Soul through the Invisible,
Some letter of that After-life to spell:
And by and by my Soul return'd to me,
And answer'd "I Myself am Heav'n and Hell :"

Thank you Drama! You are so far the only person who agrees with me. But i'm not posting here again.

Is there any particular reason for this rule?
We are all mature here (except you Lote
), I am sure we can handle a healthy political discussion?
I am suprised the word hasn't been censored actually...
I jest
forgive me dear Litnetters.

Fallen Seraph
There is no "normal" human on this planet, because everyone is different. To be "normal" would mean you are unoriginal, unpopular; the same as everyone else.
I am not normal, but I am not weird. I guess you could say I'm just your average human being...

Inexplicably Undiscovered
My gender is female, but even if I were fortunate enough to have been born a male (with the advantages which most of society have heavily weighted toward that sex)
I still wouldn't be "normal," and that's not necessarily by
choice. In fact, yours truly is so freakin' abnormal that the Menninger Clinic could devote a whole wing to my neuroses
and NEVER find a cure!

Being Neighbourly
My daughter says I am not normal. I say it is normal for her to say I am not normal. That makes two women in this house who are normal (that is, one small step from being institutionalized).
