    To fall on some patch
of the earth to make love on
    we settled for corn

    to fall on some patch
on a night dappled with grey
    when the leaves are teal...

    when a missile struck
with blasts of sudden death, i
    just watched and wondered

    if wordsworth's up there
watching "what man has made of
    man", if he too knew....

    the cats scoff arrogantly
    just you wait and see!

(maz, yeah, I agree with you totally. Just that sometimes you can't think of any other way to make it work! I got the humor, too, so I wasn't mad. )
A bit that I wrote: Vanilla Ice Cream. Comments and critique welcomed! :-)

    When he makes you wait
    Moments shiver,time melts away
    Seconds drip into days
I declare after all there is no enjoyment like reading! How much sooner one tires of anything than of a book! When I have a house of my own, I shall be miserable if I have not an excellent library.
