heehee, yep the gingerbread is very rich indeed. The original Elisen Lebkuchen may contain only ten percent flour, not more. They are made from ground nuts (hazelnuts, almonds, walnuts..), honey, candied orange and lemon peels, spices... There's other types that are allowed to be made with more than 10% flour. If you buy them from a high quality baker or gingerbread manufacturer they taste great, too, but the mass ones at the supermarket aren't that good.Originally Posted by crazefest456
