    Realizations On A Thankful Day

    Realizations On A Thankful Day

The rich aromas fill the air -
    A pleasing, drifting potpourri
Of turkey, yams, and fresh-baked bread.
A football game is on tv.

My grandmas' house is filled with love -
The love and laughter of my kin.
    I feel the warmth of happy hearts;
The fireplace crackles in the den.

For tis the day we meet and feast,
And shine our smiles in joyous mood.
Thanksgiving is the time we all
Embrace and share the blessed food.

And I am thankful most in life
For those whose blood runs through my veins.
So though the pie and wine digests,
    My love and gratefulness remains.

I liked the sweet simplicity of this: however, what is crackling-- the fireplace or the fire

and I think you want the word "whose" The way it's written, "who's" means "who is."

    Okay?
