    Sorry...more Robert Frost help...

In my book for school is the poem Stopping by the Woods on a Snowy Evening by Robert Frost. On the adjacent page, as with all the poems in my book, there is a blurb about it above the questions i must answer. Sometimes these blurbs give you an insight in to the poem or the author. Some times it shows comparisons or draws parallels to a previous poem. But for this one i cant seem to figure out what it has to do with the poem...it makes me feel like im missing something. Maybe someone can read it and tell me what, if anything, I am missing.

    Poem:

Whose woods these are I know.
    His house in in the villiage, though;
He will not see me stopping here
to watch his woods fill up with snow.

My little horse must think it queer
to stop without a farmhouse near
between the woods and fozen lake
the darkest evening of the year.

He gives his harness bells a shake
to ask if there is some mistake.
The only other sound's the sweep
of easy wind and downy flake.

The woods are lovely, dark, and deep,
But i have promises to keep,
and miles to go before i sleep,
and miles to go before i sleep.

    Blurb in my book...

The values we treasure help steer us through life. They shape our everyday decisions and choices and give meaning and direction to all the little things we do. Sometimes, though, a person may be faced with conflict in values. Then, that person has to make the difficult decision of choosing one value over another.

I didnt think there was any conflict in the poem until I read the blurb and now i am totally confused.......

any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!!!

To SunChild133: This comment..."The values we treasure help steer us through life. They shape our everyday decisions and choices and give meaning and direction to all the little things we do. It sounds like something approaching boilerplate about many poems and if it references any Frost poem, it would be "the road less travelled" and not this one. "Whose woods these are I know" is about a moment of reflection on the beauty of a place and a time and how we must move on to our "duties", however reluctantly. quasimodo1
